Completion Date Approaching for Surrey University Project
With the completion date for the Surrey University project fast approaching, the hard-working H&V team have been exceptionally busy carrying out the final phase of works.
Our outstanding operatives have been developing a state-of-the-art TV studio, carefully constructing an acoustic wall around the perimeter of the room. The timber framework currently being installed forms the base of the acoustic wall, an essential addition to the TV studio as it ensures that sound is sonically pleasing when recorded.
A high level of metal framework has also been fixed around the perimeter of the room, forming the rigging system which will hold the stage lighting and drapes.
The final stages of this phase will include fitting acoustic doorsets and windows, both of which are essential for sound insulation.
We are so proud of our team who have worked tirelessly to create this innovative and high-tech space for the students at the University of Surrey, and we look forward to sharing images of the finished project upon completion in several weeks’ time.
