H&V Building Services fully refurbished the unit to provide a new vibrant facility ready for the incoming occupant. The unit was remodelled from having a central division to a unit that is now “one”. The works were carried out with 2/3 weeks lead-in with a deadline of 12 weeks which had to be met for the Christmas delivery period, which was a key priority of HERMES, the new occupant.
We undertook the same without having to think about logistics of the building being occupied. By the third week of the contract HERMES were named as the incoming tenant and wanted to take occupation immediately. We spent the remainder of the contract liaising and working around HERMES who took ownership of half the unit whilst construction work was carried out on the other and vice versa. The key to our success was procuring all key packages at an early stage and daily close liaison with the client’s consultant and end-user.
