AC Install In-Time for Summer
Having recently been appointed to work on a cooling project at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, our expert team have been installing VRF (Variable Refrigerant Flow) Air Conditioning at the facility, providing enhanced comfort to patients receiving critical care.
Located on Queen Square in London, the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery is the leading institution for the diagnosis and treatment of patients experiencing neurological conditions, which can affect both the central and peripheral nervous systems. Built in 1859, the hospital building is a historic and recognisable landmark in the area, with many original Victorian features to the property.
H&V are currently in the final stages of completing the install of VRF Comfort Cooling to the 2nd floor of the Queen Mary Wing, where the 21 treatment and consultation rooms will now benefit from the new cooling system, allowing a more pleasant experience for the patients undergoing treatment.
Our team have extensive experience with working in live hospital environments and have ensured that all works have been carried out outside of the hospital’s operational times, eliminating any disruption to the crucial functions of the building.
With the Met Office predicting an increased likelihood of heatwaves throughout the UK summer, H&V are involved in numerous cooling projects this spring and are working tirelessly to complete these before the warmer weather sets in.
