Following the successful completion of the Surrey University Project, H&V are pleased to share final images of the creative spaces which have been developed for the Department of Music and Media.
Having been appointed to work on this extensive project, our expert team commenced works in April 2022, completing a full strip-out and reconfiguration of a redundant library space, together with the removal of unwanted asbestos present in the area. It was agreed that the new innovative facilities would include a TV studio, sound editing room, TV gallery, audio laboratory and MAC lab, ensuring the students would have full access to the tools required to fulfil their creative potential.
Working within the live environment proved to be no challenge for our outstanding team, who have extensive experience with working in operational Education settings. The team were considerate to the staff and students throughout the works, ensuring minimal disruption was caused.
Surrey University are extremely pleased with the result, and The Department of Music and Media are currently preparing to open the state-of-the-art facilities to their talented students. As well as providing the tools to help students succeed, the additional space will further facilitate the expansion of student numbers at Surrey University.
