This project consisted of the removal and fit-out of 3 new laboratory/ cleanroom facilities for Illumina.
Whilst the above works were carried out, the building was fully occupied and in operation throughout. Removal of the existing systems whilst maintaining plant operation serving other areas was a key risk associated with the works, as the facility is in 24/7 operation due to the nature of the research carried out.
Upon completion of the installation works, the systems were fully tested before being cleaned to required standards and finally fully commissioned and handed over.
